Peggy Josephin Varnadow was a former actress and philanthropist. She posed and worked for the radio briefly before seeking a film industry career. Peggy negotiated a deal but resigned three years later after marrying an oil driller named Walter Helmerich III, the family company chief. They stayed together until his death last 2012.

Nancy Olson, 91, is known for her appearance in Sunset Boulevard, 1950. This brought her nomination for the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress. She also appeared at 1975 Airport, Son of Flubber, and Absent-Minded Lecturer. She retired early after having made a promising career in acting. She had some returns, too. She was in Dumbbells in 2014 and featured in a four-year episode of Big Love. She was a Liberal, contributing several occasions to the organization.
